I’m Hannah, a 33 year old traveller, writer and truth seeker.
It all began back in November 2010 when, having just broken up with the love of my life, I finally started to listen to my inner voice. And the message wasn’t easy to hear.
I needed to re-evaluate things and get my shit together. I was single, heavily in debt and miserable. I was a woman with a mission.
Over the next 18 months I knuckled down, worked 80-100 hours a week at four jobs, paid off £15,000 debt and built savings of the same amount, got my relationship back on track and began living the life I had always dreamt of.
Right now I am travelling the world, boyfriend in tow, for an indefinite period of time.
This epic journey began in September 2012, and will continue for as long as our desire to travel (and money!) lasts. We are going to travel slowly, cheaply, and with as little forethought as possible.
Further Bound is like our mantra. It’s how my boyfriend described us as we began preparing for our life of travel and it has a nice ring to it. So that’s where you’ll find us, dreaming, blogging, and always headed further.
Meet Lee, the boyfriend. Lee is a 38 year old Scotsman who lives life to the full. He is the kindest, funniest man I have ever met, and has a knack for making friends wherever he goes, regardless of language or cultural barriers. He is particularly good with children and animals, who seem drawn to his fun-loving personality. Life is never dull with him around and I wouldn’t want to travel the world with anyone else.
I hope you will continue to follow our journey and would love it if you subscribed to my updates via RSS or email. You can also find me procrastinating on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, where I like to share inspiring things I stumble across.
